37-year-old busted stealing from unlocked cars in North Naples.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office once again reminds everyone to lock their car doors and secure their valuables after a 37-year-old woman was arrested Monday for entering unlocked vehicles in North Naples and stealing items from inside.

Jennifer Lynn Weiner of 3067 Round Table Court, East Naples, is charged with two counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and two counts of grand theft.

Collier County Sheriff’s Office reports gave this account:

Deputies were called out to Boca Avenue for a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim told deputies he was leaving for work in the morning when he discovered his Toyota Tundra had been entered without his permission. The truck was left unlocked while parked in the driveway. Power tools, electronics, cash, sunglasses, and other valuables had been removed from inside the truck.

The incident was captured on the victim’s video doorbell camera.

While deputies were on scene, a second vehicle burglary was reported a short distance away on Boca Circle.

Through investigative efforts detectives identified Weiner as the suspect.

Detectives made contact with Weiner at her residence Monday where she admitted to the crimes. She was arrested on the felony charges.
